Update Femto Bolt Firmware

ON THIS PAGE

This document provides guidance on how to update the device firmware on the Femto Bolt.

1. Prepare for Firmware Update

1. Download the latest version of OrbbecViewer and latest firmware

2. Ensure the device is properly connected to the computer.

Note: Keep the USB port and power connected during firmware update. Disconnecting during the update can corrupt the firmware.

2. Update Device Firmware

1. Launch OrbbecViewer

2. Open “More”

3. Open Recovery Mode

4. Select the corresponding firmware, e.g. FemtoBolt_v1.0.6_20230919151820_905dfc4

5. Start the upgrade

6. Wait for the upgrade to complete

3. Verify Device Firmware Upgrade

1. Launch OrbbecViewer

2. Open “More”

3. Check Device Information

4. View the Firmware version information

4. Troubleshooting

Firmware updates can fail for several reasons. If the firmware update fails, try the following to resolve:

1. Retry the firmware update operation

2. Check the device is connected properly

3. Verify the firmware file is correct
